1. Is Red Springs on line? where? why not?

2. How will red Springs deal with the "Out of Oil" situation?

3. What will the Shawano TIF District cost us in taxes?

4. Grand Theft LAWN

The Town of Red Springs has graveled our lawn. Someone extended the road with a pencil or a computer, so they believe that our lawn is the road.

There are procedures to make a road. A plan must be made, surveyed, a need must be assessed, all persons affected are to be notified by registered letter. If the town is condemning the land, taking it, they must negotiate a price with the landowner.

The landowner has rights to confront the price, or the condemnation action.

All this is specified in SS 80.

Red Springs refuses to follow SS 80. They have no condemnation or right of way listing in the Reg. of Deeds Office. I confronted Shawano County, which lists the road in feet and has been collecting "gas tax" from the state on my lawn. Shawano County was not helpful, they denied any wrong doing while refusing to provide past records which would settle the matter.

Shawano County Bureaucracy is designed so the citizens of Shawano County can not assess matters of the Bureaucracy. This is an intolerable situation.

If you have had a problem with assessing or getting information from Shawano County, please email me. I will respect your confidence. Bruce
